Personally I've never won the BIG one.  I have had SIX winning numbers on a ticket - but that was 5 + bonus, when they had two bonus balls so I won about $5000.  I've won several division three prizes of several hundred dollars and many smaller prizes.  I think I'm approximately even with what I've spent equalling what I've won.

The LOTTOLOGIC systems are largely very simple to use, and mostly very cheap to play.

Lotto Nz currently offers the player several choices of playing method. Combo games, Lucky dip, Strike, Keno, D-I-Y boards. None of these methods will give you very good odds of winning unless some forethought also goes into your game. You may not be aware but the Combo games are not the most cost effective ways to cover your numbers, also the Lucky dip tickets have both advantages and disadvantages.

The Lotto 9 Combo game costs FORTY TWO dollars to play. The LOTTOLOGIC system has the exact same chance of winning a prize as the much more expensive Combo system, (this can be easily proven mathematically). Now, just as an example assume you have a budget of say Forty two dollars this week, (that's a LOT unless you are running a syndicate), for your Lotto game......you have a choice .....one Lotto 9 Combo game or up to SEVEN LOTTOLOGIC budget 9 games. Of course the player with only one group of 9 numbers has only one chance of winning, the player using LOTTOLOGIC systems may play up to seven games so therefore has up to seven times the chances of winning. Thus even if you were only to play two LOTTOLOGIC games at a cost of just Twelve dollars you would have twice the chance of winning as the Lotto 9 Combo game ........Of course only playing one LOTTOLOGIC budget 9 game will give you the same chance of winning a prize as the Lotto Combo 9 game, yet will cost you a LOT less. There currently exist many LOTTOLOGIC games allowing you to play any 8-9-10-12-14-16-20 or 40 numbers.

How does LOTTOLOGIC work ? Well the systems vary a little in style of application. However the basics are simple. In order to collect a Lotto prize you need at least 4 winning numbers, (or three and the bonus), on one line of your ticket. Lotto Combo games are designed to guarantee that every group of six numbers which may be derived from your chosen 8-9-10 numbers will be represented on your ticket....Thus guaranteeing you a first division win in the event you get VERY lucky and have all six winning numbers within the combination you are playing. Several LOTTOLOGIC games have been designed to compete with the Lotto Combo systems and will ensure that every group of four numbers which may be derived from your chosen group must appear on your ticket.... What this means is that you play many fewer lines of six numbers in order to achieve this, and your cost to play is considerably reduced. Then if your combination contains at least three and the bonus or 4 winning numbers you MUST collect at least one prize. The LOTTOLOGIC game is much cheaper .....the trade off is that if your combination contains more than four winning numbers they may be broken down by the system into smaller groups. Thus a group of five winning numbers may not give you a div 3 win but you will certainly get several lower division wins.
